If you represent a TEP and are considering a new album for your training program, or if you are a Level-Lead or Head of School considering obtaining the album for multiple elementary classrooms, please contact us at LockhartLearning@gmail.com for special pricing!
This album is for you if:
You want to understand not just what to present, but why each lesson works mathematically and developmentally, and when to move children on to the next concept.
You are seeking greater clarity on how to support the child's shift from concrete materials to abstraction.
You value fidelity to Montessori principles while also responding to the needs of modern elementary learners.
Your students get “stuck” on one lesson for longer than seems reasonable, shaking your faith in the materials.
You are looking for guidance that reflects real classroom experience, including common challenges and variations in implementation.
You believe that the role of the adult is to prepare an environment that allows the child's thinking to emerge, rather than directing every step.
Please Note: This album contains at least half of the content from Making Math Facts Memorable. Our suggestion is that you order Montessori MathMagic first and see if that addresses your concerns. If you find that you want more on math facts, you can always order the math fact monograph at a future time.
This album does not include lessons on fractions/decimals, which are classically part of the Montessori Elementary-I and Elementary-II math/geometry coursework. That will be my next magnum opus! Look for it in 2027.
